These are not ordinary sunglasses. They are handmade jewelry, wearable art, and a small sculpture made to be worn.
Each pair is individually crafted by hand from sterling silver. They have functional hinges and are designed to open, close, and be adjusted to fit the wearer. However, because they are handmade, they will not have the exact uniformity, symmetry, or precision of a mass-manufactured pair of sunglasses. Small variations, imperfections, tool marks, subtle asymmetry, and other evidence of the handmade process may be present. These are not flaws in the product; they are part of the piece.
Sterling silver is naturally a much softer metal and requires the same care and consideration you would give to fine jewelry. The frames may be carefully adjusted to better fit the wearer's face, but they are not indestructible and are not designed for rough handling.
These are show pieces intended to be worn and enjoyed for a few hours at a time. Not tossed into a bag, left loose in a vehicle, slept in, sat on, dropped, or treated like a standard commercial pair of sunglasses. They should be stored and handled with care when not being worn.
Damage caused by dropping, bending, crushing, sitting on, improper adjustment, rough handling, exposure to water or chemicals, or general wear and tear is not considered a manufacturing defect and is not the responsibility of Sundown Studios.
If you are looking for mass-produced perfection, these may not be the sunglasses for you.

This particular pair has a minor cosmetic scuff on the lens. resulting from the final finishing process.
It Is subtle, and only noticeable upon close inspection and in certain lighting.
I am choosing to disclose this rather than hide it because transparency matters. Especially with a piece at this level.
These marks do not detract from the overall appearance of the sunglasses when worn, but they are present and should be expected by the purchaser.
